Jana Rapuš Pavel is Assistant Professor on Department of Social Pedagogy,
Faculty of Education, University of Ljubljana. She has participated in seve-
ral action and qualitative research projects, which involved different appro-
aches and vulnerable groups (mentoring, unemployed youth, children with
emotional and behavioural difficulties, vulnerable families). Her recent
action research projects are related to vulnerable families, more specifical-
ly, they are geared towards the development of more flexible and innovati-
ve models of cooperation with vulnerable families.
Nada Turnšek je docentka za sociologijo edukacije na Oddelku za pred-
šolsko vzgojo Pedagoške fakultete Univerze v Ljubljani. Raziskovalno se
ukvarja s tematikami demokratizacije sistema predšolske vzgoje, zmanjše-
vanja socialne in kulturne neenakosti, zagotavljanja enakih izobraževalnih
in razvojnih možnosti predšolskih otrok ter spoprijemanja z diskriminaci-
jo. V zadnjem obdobju raziskuje potrebe ranljivih družin in otrok v okviru
(predšolske) vzgoje ter razvoj inovativnih pristopov odzivanja nanje.

partment of Early Childhood Education at the Faculty of Education in Lju-
bljana. Her research interest include tackling social and cultural inequa-
lity trough early childhood education and care, democratisation of early
childhood system and settings, as well as providing equal education oppo-
runities and counteracting discrimination. In recent years she is involved
in (action) research exploring the needs of vulnerable families with you-
ng children and searching for more comprehensive, flexible and interdisci-
plinary expert responses from within and outside the system of prescho-
ol education.
Olga Poljšak Škraban je docentka za razvojno psihologijo na Pedagoški fa-
kulteti v Ljubljani. V zadnjih letih se raziskovalno osredotoča na družino
in razvoj posameznika v njej ter na ranljive družine in razvoj novih pristo-
pov dela z njimi.
