Katja Koren Ošljak is a researcher and PhD student at the Faculty for social
sciences, University of Ljubljana. In her work she focuses on digital produ-
ction, digital and media literacy, digital culture in everyday life.

Dr. Maja Melinc Mlekuž je kot raziskovalka zaposlena na Slovenskem razi-
skovalnem inštitutu (SLORI) v Trstu in na Inštitutu za jezikoslovne študije
ZRS Koper. Pred tem je vrsto let poučevala v šolah s slovenskim učnim je-
zikom v Italiji. Na Fakulteti za humanistiko Univerze v Novi Gorici od leta
2008 predava slovenščino kot drugi/tuji jezik. Posveča se vprašanjem raz-
vijanja medkulturne zmožnosti, didaktike slovenskega jezika, pedagoške-
ga raziskovanja na območju slovensko-italijanskega kulturnega stikanja in
priprave učnih gradiv za učenje slovenščine v šolah s slovenskim učnim je-
zikom v Italiji. Ureja tudi portal SM(e)Jse – Slovenščina kot manjšinski je-
zik.
Dr Maja Melinc Mlekuž is a researcher at the Slovene Research Institute
(SLORI) in Trieste and at the Institute for Linguistic Studies of the Science
and Research Centre Koper. Earlier in her career, she was a teacher at scho-
ols with Slovene as the language of instruction in Italy for several years.
Since 2008, she has been a lecturer in Slovene as a second/foreign language
at the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Nova Gorica. She focuses
on the development of intercultural competence, the didactics of the Slo-
vene language, pedagogical research in the field of Slovene-Italian cultural
contact, and the design of didactic materials for learning Slovene in schools
with the Slovene as the language of instruction in Italy. She is also editor of
the SM(e)Jse (Slovene as a Minority Language) portal.

Tina Mervic je magistrica psihologije in raziskovalka na Pedagoškem in-
štitutu, v Centru za kakovost v vzgoji in izobraževanju Korak za kora-
kom. Njeno primarno raziskovalno področje je razvoj otrok, ukvarja pa
se z i­niciativami za zagotavljanje kakovostnega izobraževalnega procesa in
podpore strokovnim delavcem, zaposlenim v vzgoji in izobraževanju.
Tina Mervic has a master’s degree in psychology and is a researcher at the
Educational Research Institute, Center for Quality in Education Step by
Step. Her primary research area is child development. She is mainly in-
volved in initiatives to ensure a quality educational process and to support
professionals in kindergartens and primary schools.
