Simona Tancig, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of developmental psychol-
ogy. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and is a Supervi-
sory Specialist. She has continued her studies in the United States and the
Netherlands. She collaborates with the Faculty of Education of the Uni-
versity of Ljubljana and with the Ljubljana branch of Sigmund Freud Uni-
versity of Vienna. Her fields of pedagogical and research work are devel-
opmental and cognitive psychology, special pedagogy, inclusive education,
supervision, art therapy, and cognitive science. In recent years, she has fo-
cused on the field of educational neuroscience and the implementation of
this interdisciplinary field into education and research. In this context,
she explores and develops issues related to metacognition, self-regulation,
self-determination, executive functions, and emotional and social develop-
ment. She pays special attention to the impacts of ubiquitous digitalization
on various areas of education from both the perspectives of learning and
teaching. She is a member of the International Mind, Brain and Education
Society (IMBES), as well as a member of the European Association for Re-
search on Learning and Instruction (EARLI) and a member of its SIG Neu-
roscience & Education.

Doc. dr. Janja Tekavc je zaposlena na Pedagoški fakulteti Univerze v Ma-
riboru (Oddelek za temeljne pedagoške predmete), kjer poučuje študente
pedagoških smeri (bodoče učitelje razrednega pouka, glasbene in likovne
pedagogike, inkluzivne pedagoge, vzgojitelje in športne trenerje). Pri svo-
jem raziskovalnem delu se posveča temam s področij pedagoške psihologi-
je, psihologije športa in zdravja.
Janja Tekavc (PhD) is employed at the Faculty of Education, Universi-
ty of Maribor (Department of Basic Pedagogical Subjects), where she tea-
ches students of different study programs (for primary school teachers, te-
achers of music and fine arts, inclusive educators, pre-school teachers, and
sports coaches). In her research work, she focuses on topics in the field of
the psychology of education, the psychology of sport and exercise, and he-
alth psychology.

Manja Veldin je psihologinja in raziskovalka na Pedagoškem inštitutu v
Ljubljani. Sodelovala je s Centrom za psihodiagnostična sredstva, Sveto-
valnico Kameleon, v različnih raziskavah (Kvaliteta življenja bolnikov po
