Cátia Branquinho is a clinical and health psychologist, holding a PhD in
Educational Sciences, with a speciality in Health Education, from the Faculty
of Human Kinetics, University of Lisbon, where she is also a post-doctorate
in Educational Sciences. As part of the Aventura Social team (www.aven-
turasocial.com), she works as a researcher and executive coordinator of the
study The Voice of the Young in the COVID-19 Pandemic. She has also
been a researcher at the Environmental Health Research Centre, Faculty
of Medicine, University of Lisbon, a member of the international network
Health Behaviour in School-aged Children/World Health Organisation
(HBSC/OMS), and a member of the WHO Youth Engagement Advisory
Board.
Gina Tomé is a educational psychologist, clinical and health psycholo-
gist, with an advanced specialty in Psychotherapies and Community
Psychology, a master’s in Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies, a PhD in
Educational Sciences, with a specialty in Health Education. She has been an
assistant researcher at the Faculty of Human Kinetics at the University of
Lisbon; a researcher in the Aventura Social (Social Adventure) project team
in the areas of mental health, resilience, personal and social skills promo-
tion, adolescence risk behaviours prevention, and adolescent peer group re-
lationships, and a coordinator of the ES´COOL Project – Mental Health
Promotion in Schools/Aventura Social Team, Faculty of Human Kinetics,
University of Lisbon.
Margarida Gaspar de Matos is a clinical and health psychologist, and a full
professor (with Accreditation in International Health) at the University
of Lisbon. She is active on the Task Force for Behavioural Sciences of the
Government of Portugal, as a coordinator of the G2 Group – Supportive
Environments at the Research Centre of the Institute of Environmental
Health, Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon, a member of the
Board of Prevention and Intervention of the EFPA (European Federation
of Psychologists’ Associations) representing the Order of Portuguese
Psychologists, and as a member of the Steering Committee of the EUPHA/
CAPH (European Public Health Association/Child and Adolescent Public
Health).
