The Editors and the Authors
Ana Kozina is a researcher, assistant professor and head of the Centre for
Evaluation Studies at the Educational Research Institute. Her work is con-
cerned with the field of developmental and educational psychology. She
focuses on the developmental and time-related trends of aggression and
anxiety (in childhood and adolescence), their interplay and the role anx-
iety and aggression play on the individual, school and community levels
(with possible prevention and intervention designs). In the field of educa-
tion, she is interested in the factors associated with students’ achievement
and well-being (social and emotional learning, school climate, motivation
etc.). Currently, she is a leading researcher in the European project: HAND
IN HAND: Empowering teachers across Europe to deal with social, emo-
tional and diversity related career challenges and is actively involved in the
international research project Positive Youth Development Cross-National
(led by University of Bergen). Her work appears on the national and inter-
national level (e.g. conferences, journals, monographs) on a regular basis.
She is a member of the editorial board of the Educational Research Institute
Press and vice-president of the Slovenian Educational Research Association
(SLODRE).
Nora Wiium is an associate professor of developmental psychology at
the University of Bergen, Norway. Her work mainly entails teaching de-
velopmental psychology and researching health behaviours and youth
