role model, his/ her own attitude in this approach could be a determining
factor in his/her exemplary pedagogical activity (Driscoll and Nagel, 2005;
European Commission; 2018; Molnár, 2013; Richardson, 1996). As a peda-
gogue in the basing activity of lifelong learning it is also very important to
get prepared for the complex task to deepen the need for continuous learn-
ing in the actual generations attending to schools and develop their skills
which make them possible to manage an effective and continuous learn-
ing lifestyle throughout their whole life (Coolahan, 2007). To ensure suc-
cess, universities have the responsibility to prepare kindergarten teachers
for this task by training the teachers. At this point we can see that the task
of preparing individuals for lifelong learning is a very complex task and it
pervades all stages of the education, not to mention the other linking areas
of economy and labour market as other factors.

Teachers’ role in basing children’s lifelong learning
Kraiciné (2009) suggests that kindergarten teachers and primary school
teachers have a determinative role in preparing children for LLL especially
with providing special skills and knowledge for the pupils.
