The present monograph includes also a set of separate proposals for the
further improvement of teaching citizenship education related to the
shape and structure of citizenship education in the context of other
school subjects, the integration of new issues into the teaching of cit-
izenship education, the status of ethics and the knowledge about reli-
gions, the name of this school subject as well as taking into account the
context of the syllabus of citizenship education in the curriculum of ele-
mentary education in Slovenia.
