Mitja Sardoč (PhD) is a researcher at the Educational Research Institute
in Ljubljana (Slovenia) where he is member of the ‘Social Contract in the
21st Century’ research programme. He is author of several scholarly arti­
cles and editor of a number of journal special issues on citizenship educati­
on, multiculturalism, toleration, equal opportunities and patriotism. He
is Managing Editor of Theory and Research in Education (http://tre.sage­
pub.com/) and member of the editorial board of Educational Philosophy
and Theory and the Open Review of Educational Research. He edited two
books published by Wiley (Citizenship, Inclusion and Democracy and To-
leration, Respect and Recognition in Education). He is also a contributing
author to the SAGE Encyclopedia of Educational Theory and Philosophy.
He is editor-in-chief of The Handbook of Patriotism [http://refworks.sprin­
ger.com/ Patriotism] that is to be published by Springer in 2018.
Andraž Teršek
Andraž Teršek, pravnik in doktor (ustavnega) prava, je doktoriral na Prav­
ni fakulteti v Ljubljani, kjer je bil v letih 1998–2008 zaposlen kot asistent.
V tem času se je uveljavil kot pravni teoretik in filozof, predvsem pa kot
ustavni pravnik. Za njegovo ukvarjanje s pravom so značilni upiranje
pravniškim dogmam in klišejem, konstruktivna kritičnost do pravne real­
nosti, vztrajanje na trajnem upravičevanju prava z razumnostjo, logiko in
moralo, opazovanje temeljnih pravnih vprašanj in problemov z nekoliko
drugačnih zornih kotov, vnašanje novosti in novih študijskih pristopov
v svetu pravne znanosti. Spisal je številna strokovna in znanstvena bese­
dila s področja ustavnega prava, demokracije, človekovih pravic in dru­
gih sorodnih tem. Bil je pomočnik urednika revije Dignitas. Je avtor dveh
knjižnih del o svobodi izražanja. Je pobudnik, soustanovitelj in sourednik
prve slovenske revije za ustavno pravo REVUS. Zaposlen je na Univerzi na
Primorskem, kjer na Pedagoški fakulteti tudi predava.

nal Democracy). Assistant professor at the Chair of Theory and Sociology
of Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana, in years 1999-2008.
Former assistant editor of Dignitas – The Slovenian Journal of Human
Rights. Editor of Legal Questions about the Beginning and End of Life.
Abortion and Euthanasia, collection of Papers. Author of numerous ar­
ticles, essays and research papers, mostly written about constitucional
law and democracy, sociology of law, human rights, philosopfy of law, le­
