The use of artificial intelligence in education gives rise to ethical concerns, including the gathering and utilisation of data, the protection of children’s rights, and the role of human decision-making. The implementation of AI in personalised learning raises concerns about whether it is effectively guiding or restricting students’ educational experiences. By understanding the realities and challenges associated with AI in education, we can navigate its implementation more effectively and leverage its potential for the benefit of learners and educators alike.
